Hello Gildor.
Here is the original ME3 pcc files:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/za87il

Can you take a look?
It looks like you have'nt yet read FAQ. I just make a quote from there:

What should I provide to you for support for some new game?
I need a few files:

1) game executable; note: I need non-encrypted file! For the PC it should contain a few "key" strings in ANSI and Unicode - one of them is a "USkeletalMesh". If this string is not present in the file - it is encrypted and useless for me.
For XBox360 executable is usually (or always?) named as "default.xex". It is encrypted, but decoder is available.
2) core.u and engine.u (for some games file extension may be "xxx").
3) startup_int package (usually present for cooked games).
4) file version report of the pkgtool - to let me make autodetection of this game with umodel.
These files should be compressed to reduce traffic - use Rar or 7zip.
NOTE: I'm not guarantee that I will support that game, but I'm usually cannot make something without that files.

It means that you must upload more than one archive.

OK, ME3 is not released yet but already available for preload. So, here is all necessary files http://www.sendspace.com/file/5e7jcz (http://www.sendspace.com/file/5e7jcz)
and example http://www.sendspace.com/file/0b3ygx (http://www.sendspace.com/file/0b3ygx)

The game executable is protected, it is not possible to perform reverse engineering.

Title: Re: Mass Effect 3

The game executable is protected, it is not possible to perform reverse engineering.

The game EXE is encrypted as a measure to prevent it from being run before the release. After the March 6th release, an online authentication system will decrypt the file. Until then, the EXE is useless.

I would assume that the demo exe is very similar to the final game's exe, so it might be usable.

I've spent some time on Mass Effect 3 and implemented package and texture support. Uploaded umodel, decompressor and extractor.
Notes:
  • XBox360 packages could require "-lzx" command line options
  • I've tested these tools only with files uploaded here, probably additional testing is required (this game has some unusual changes made to the engine)
  • TFC support was not tested

I'll work on mesh and animation support later, when I'll get free time.

Try to look in Biop_ProNor packages. As i understand, in Mass Effect 3 all non combat animations are no longer stored in regular packages (such as biog_...). They have been moved for performmance optimization i guess.

Is anyone else getting super small textures from most of the packages? I'm looking at the textures in SFXPawn_Trooper right now, and they are all really tiny (mostly 32x32 pixel) and I've noticed this in quite a few other packages as well.
Anyone have any idea where the full resolution textures are?

I think you are missing out textures.tfc, try putting umodel into the cookedpcconsole folder and extract again, or copy the tfc files to the package location

Hello this is my first post. I tried to read the documentation, but i am not a good command line user. I didnt understand a thing about the documentation, its filled with errors and there is no guide on how to start. So i tried searching for videos on the main page as it says there are plenty of video tutorials in the page and i found none :(. Maybe i am looking it wrong. But i have a question, i am only looking for 2 models with the respective textures.
The reaper on tuchanka and ronnoch ( the 3d model seems to the be the same ) and Harbinger. I just got a 3d printer and i want to do a 40 cm tall sculture of them :).

Does any1 have them or can point me in the direction of how to use this program?

( btw i have the game in origin, using this program will alter files? i dont want to get banned ).

Best Regards

Damian.

Just a heads up, the only time Harbinger is in game is near the end and the model used then is just a lower poly version of the Sovereign class Reapers from earlier on in the game, its just missing the front leg:
Left: Harbinger, right: Hi-poly Sovereign class
Note: I added the eyes on Harbinger (tricky to position since Sovereign isn't the right shape)

The colour difference comes from the textures themselves.  I guess they did this since you only see Harbinger once, in the dark and with only his lower half visible.

Using umodel will not modify your game files so you are safe from banning :).  Wish I had access to a 3D printer myself :D

Good luck

I cant find an SkeletalMesh of the Normandy, Harbinger nor the Destroyer. I created a batch file to let it extract all ppc files, yet no luck finding those models there.
All I found were static models of Normandy and the Harbinger.

I miss the high res textures of ME2 - bioware what have you done! :(

I did the same thing but my batch file would skip over a lot of the files so I had to go digging in manually for all the cool stuff :P, I found a Skeletal Normandy, it is a cinematic version, I found it in one of the early Earth files.  I found a Skeletal Destroyer in a few of the end files.  I had to forward the command line output into text files as it would output more lines than cmd could display :p.

Do you happen to know which file you found the static Harbinger in?  The one I found was a SkeletalMesh that supports all of the animations for the Sovereign reapers I extracted from the early Earth scenes.

EDIT: Good call on the Arrival, huge differences between the ME3 (left) and ME2 (right) Harbinger model (I stole ME2 eyes and stuck them on ME3 as best they would fit ;) ):

Also, the textures I get from ME2 and ME3 are both around 1K, what size are you getting?

Have to take a look when I am at home. But it was a lowres model.

also 1K - but ME2 had a few 2k Textures (for the normandy and I think a few characters).
But when playing ME3 It looks as if majority of textures are not even 1k - but I did not look for those meshes yet with umodel.

One guy created 4k textures for the ME2 characters - those look AMAZING applied to the model and rendered in max. :D

Check Rick's blog (http://svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/). There is a tool that allow you to extract everything from .sfar archive. By "everything" i mean .pcc, .afc and other files. It means that you still have to use UModel. Look for all-r61_b76.zip, use Gibbed.MassEffect3.UnpackSFXArchive.exe, it's command-line tool. Here is an exampl

Instead of using a command line bat file, I tried PowerShell today - and this worked beautiefully. Batch extracted all pcc files.  ;D

Anyone knows where the Diana Allers model is ? I cant find it anywhere!

EDIT: I found her! Its under this name: BioD_End001_436CRAllers !!

I know I found Diana and her Hoverbot, but sadly I renamed the folder containing it xP, have you checked the Normandy files and Citadel files?
example...
SCRATCH THAT FOUND IT!

look for the file named "BioD_Nor_420StarCargo"
She should be in there, along with her bot. Cheerio mate! :D

Does anyone know where we can find the weapon and biotic attack sounds etc??

Weapons... try searching for the .afc files.

example... "SFXGUI_W_A_Vindicator.pcc" there you will find a series of sound files, that when compiled together will make the given sound of the rifle/weapon. Or the file named "SFXWeapon_AssaultRifle_Vindicator.pcc"
But if you're looking for heavy weapons sound effects like the mini nuke explosion.. it will be located in a seperate file for example titled "Wwise_Weapons_Heavy_MiniNuke.afc"

For biotic sounds they maybe located as files like... "SFXPowerMP_Slam.pcc" so on and so forth. Along with those biotic sounds you may also encounter a number of other power's sound effects like the "SFXPower_Overload.pcc"

And the if you noticed there is a "SFXPowerMP.." and a "SFXPower..." One designed for mulitplayer pressumably and the other for single player.

I hope this helps you! :D
