There are some instructions (thanks to RedBear) about extracting .hrs files used with this game. Original link is here (/smf/index.php/topic,3037.msg31265.html#msg31265).

Here is a mini guide how to extract HIT resources:

Required Tools:
1. Compiled QuickBMS [current version is 0.9.2] (http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers/quickbms.zip)
2. unreal_tournament_4.bms script for QuickBMS [current version is 0.4.21a](http://aluigi.altervista.org/bms/unreal_tournament_4.bms)

Extracting content of HRS files with QuickBMS:
0. Rename 0.hrs file to overhit.hrs (not sure if this step is required, but I did it).
1. Double-click on quickbms_4gb_files.exe.
2. Select your unreal_tournament_4.bms script.
3. Select your overhit.hrs file.
4. Select the output folder for extracted resources.
5. Press Enter when it asks for a encryption key.
6. Wait until the extracting process is complete.

It's really nice when I'm writing stuff, MAKING A VIDEO showing how to use it, but people says - "hey, use quickbms".

As you probably know, I can't test every game. Your message "not worked" doesn't tell me anything. However in 99% of cases, this means that user does something wrong.
If you want to get any help, you should provide me more information about what you're doing.

UModel doesn't support Unicode. Your path contains non-ASCII characters, this is why UModel can't open the game directory. You should copy or move files to the directory which contains only English characters.

I don't even have the game.
I read on xentax it was not working directly on UModel and it needed a QuickBMS script, so I wrote it here. ;D

It is strange when people are discussing UModel on Xentax. Anyway, I've recorded several videos recently, and all these videos are showing UModel working with pak files. Pak files are supported from very beginning of UE4 support.

The problem mentioned a few posts above in this thread is missing Unicode support in UModel. If people will extract pak files using other software, but files will remains in some directory with Unicode characters, UModel still will not be able to open them, so third-party software is not a solution.

Hi,gildor,  I meet a new problem when I export this game's  psa files.
1 the animation file list in the umodel  show
2 the export file list, all the psa files use the same name.

Hi, I am able to view and export skeletal mesh and animations but no luck with static meshes.
e.g. Was trying to export the weapon model for the character and got the following error. Any idea what is causing this issue? Can share files if needed...

Ho Gildor, thanks for your reply.
Yes I tried various versions using the game override option. From v4.0 to 4.13 I am able to extract character and NPC models and animations but no weapons, static mesh etc. Version V.14 onwards doesn't extract anything so I am taking a guess that the game is using UE 4.13 or below.
All the versions are giving some wrong index export error.
It's not a big deal as I can at least get character mesh out, weapons and props will be a bonus :-)  But if it is too much of an ffort don't bother. Thanks again for your time

I am able to extract PC and NPC characters, e.g. MOC_Bignose.. PC_F_01, PC_F_04 etc...not able to get any props or weapons e.g. Tree_001, Weapon01_ weapon10_skel etc

I think I found what's wrong with static meshes. This data format was changed a little bit. Technical details follows (just to not forget them if they'll be useful later). If I'll open UStaticMesh4::Serialize method, and remove serializer for "BodySetup", everything works fine. However, I don't want to integrate this change into UModel's code for this indie game. Current code for UE4 is very "clean" - it works for all or almost all games without special paths for specific games. If you'll look at UModel's code for UE3 games - it's awful, because of lots and lots of different variants for different games. Currently I know just a pair of UE4 games which have altered data formats, all of them has "indie" quality and not worth supporting at all.

In fact, there are 2 UE4 "HIT" games, I think. One of them is on Steam, another on mobile devices!

The reason why I checked this game is that I supposed regression in UModel's code, like - "earlier the game was supported by UModel, but now - not". However I see that UModel works as it should.

Sure. No sense in making any changes and breaking something else :-) Anycase I have extracted the character models and NPCs, that is plenty.

p.s. are you sure about the steam version of HIT? There is indeed a game called HIT on steam but that looks like another indie shooter game nothing related to the Nexon game :-)

That's what I said: two (different) UE4 games with the same name. I'm not the one who noticed that.

In compatibility table this game declared as not supporting static meshes. And it seems everything else works fine. So I see no error here - static meshes aren't working, and they shouldn't.

I'm trying to unpack the game data of "Heroes Of Incredible Tales", but nothing happens. Tried various unpackers, different keys, quickbms, etc., were looking for methods on the Internet, found the workers but they are for older versions of the game, with the new version don't work.  :-[

Maybe someone from the professionals on the basis of the sport, will be able to help me? I would be very grateful and thankful.

Hi Oksana. Your English seems not worse than mine :)

I've downloaded and checked this file.

This file looks like an Unreal engine 4 pak file. However it has completely different format, different structure sizes, and taking into account that file content is absolutely not understandable - it has either some strange compression or encryption. Also, if I'm trying to "map" this pak format to original pak format, it has "version" field equals to 6, while recent Epic's engine has only version 4. So HIT programmers definitely customized everything in pak format to make it unreadable by any software including umodel.

I'd recommend you to find an older version of this game somewhere in torrents etc. Older version were definitely unpackable. Or wait until someone who has skills, desire and nothing else to do free time will make an unpacker for this pak format. May be an unpacker already exists somewhere - there's a lot of umodel-relates stuff outside of this site and forum.

Gildor, thanks for reply.  :) I try to search old version, but only find old APK, not cache =( QuickBMS (UnrealTurnament4.bms) is view structure and file list, but not want to unpack it =( Maybe need to find correct key in APK?.. Directly Umodel can't open 0.hrs, becouse it's archive with many packed .PAK files. Any way, Thank you very much for trying!  :D

I believe apk is just ordinary zip file. Try to rename it to .zip and open with any archiver (or Windows Explorer may do that, at least in Windows 8+).

Most likely encryption is embedded into UE4 itself, not made as a shared library (however I'm impressed that a GIRL knows what .so file is!)

I found only two files with not small sizes... exclude lib's, but i have no experience to understand what these files, I'm not a developer of mobile games(

This file contains pure Android data. Probably there should be some "cache" file too, which should be much larger in size. Sometimes cache has "obb" file extension, and it might be a renamed zip too.

Most people here are not "pirates". There are many people here who use extracted content for educational purposes, and I'm proud that my tool could be used for that. UModel was started with education in mind.

OBB folder on mobile device is empty, all in DATA folder, but exclude 0.hrs file, only UE4 config files, like GameUserSettings.ini, and video files.

Yes, it is. The numbers at the end of the archive name indicate the version of the game.
And what engine support should I select for exporting assets out of ArchAge and HIT? ue4.16 or...?
godskin has long reported this info in the relevant topics:
ArcheAge Begins - UE 4.14.
HIT - No needs manual override game detection.
OverHIT - UE 4.17.

I get a hit package from app store of china, it is a .ipa file I put it in mega:https://mega.nz/#!nXAlDI6Y!fx5EJ-Z51_bwXGfoyg9xbXXshuw8Zs7SgyBhq-HQJA8
It is the newest hit ipa file in china, and i unzip it. Then I get the file,
the directory is:com.netease.hit_1.20.173635_0.173635\Payload\HIT.app\cookeddata\hit\content\paks
But I use umodel analysis it, there is nothing!
What I should do?

I've quickly reviewed this thread, and it seems people are using custom pak extractor for this game. This game has unusual pak format.

The problem with impossibility to show anything happens quite often now, so I decided to add log messages in a case if opening pak file has something wrong inside. Usual approach for UModel is to crash with a special error message, but here pak files are ignored. Now - not quietly.

Hi Gildor, I only change the *.ipa to *.zip, and unzip it. Then change directory to Payload\HIT.app\cookeddata\hit\content\paks,
And find there is some *.pak files. I do nothing else, but umodel can`t analysis it.
And same operations are work for some of UE4 games!
I think the *.apk in hit is also have some magic numbers, but i don`t know how to find it and change.
Can you tell me how can you find the magic number for the PUBG Game`s apk?

The format of pak in this game is more different than just changed magic number. It's still simple, but not supported by umodel.

I tried to use the umodel file to open the 0.hrs file, but I just got this blank result https://ibb.co/Vp0SP0K. I downloaded the game client posted on the first page and just extracted the whole zip file as per normal without alterations on the its file names and so on. Any ideas?

Anyone can share a download link for 0.8.1 quick bms? I've been searching for a whole day but no luck .

Umodel won't open ".hrs files". It opens pak and uasset.

I tried to use the umodel file to open the 0.hrs file, but I just got this blank result https://ibb.co/Vp0SP0K. I downloaded the game client posted on the first page and just extracted the whole zip file as per normal without alterations on the its file names and so on. Any ideas?
Here is a mini guide how to extract HIT resources:
Required Tools:
1. Compiled QuickBMS [current version is 0.9.2] (http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers/quickbms.zip)
2. unreal_tournament_4.bms script for QuickBMS [current version is 0.4.21a](http://aluigi.altervista.org/bms/unreal_tournament_4.bms)

Extracting content of HRS files with QuickBMS:
0. Rename 0.hrs file to overhit.hrs (not sure if this step is required, but I did it).
1. Double-click on quickbms_4gb_files.exe.
2. Select your unreal_tournament_4.bms script.
3. Select your overhit.hrs file.
4. Select the output folder for extracted resources.
5. Press Enter when it asks for a encryption key.
6. Wait until the extracting process is complete.

@vandaa95: All quickbms related links in quoted post still works, though I don't understand why do you need them, as you can find already extracted assets in original RedBear's post above (thanks to him for still keeping them alive).
