Title: XIII Post by: Gildor on April 06, 2011, 18:52 Implemented XIII support. Animations and static meshes are not supported. Beta version of the game is not supported.
Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on April 06, 2011, 21:16 This game is not auto-detected by umodel, so you will need to specify "-game=xiii" option. "-noanim" and "-nostat" are also required.

Animations extracted from Beta Build are working fine using retail meshes :) So for anyone who wants Animations, get the beta version and use -nostat -nomesh on the Packages. In fact, it is even developed by the same studio and came out around the same time. Does this engine also make use of the "$" character string? hex=07 24 If so, it might possibly be really easy for you to make support for Versus mode that was included in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Pandora Tomorrow and Double Agent Versus. Just a thought. I can send you those packages if you wish ;) Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on April 11, 2011, 11:31 Gildor, if I remember correctly this game uses very similar (if not exactly the same) engine build as Splinter Cell Versus (the multiplayer mode). no ideaIn fact, it is even developed by the same studio and came out around the same time. I don't think so - every supported Ubisoft's title were required a lot of workTitle: Re: XIII Post by: breakfast on September 12, 2011, 19:02 Hi,
im new but i rly need that meshes =/ isnt there a way to export them ? why its not supported ? plz replie Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on September 12, 2011, 19:33 Are you talking about static meshes?
Title: Re: XIII Post by: breakfast on September 12, 2011, 19:35 yeah =/ tried to export ... textures work very well but statics failed =/
edit : wow epic fast replie Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on September 12, 2011, 19:40 Quote why its not supported ? I don't remember why. Most probably that's because XIII used too early UE2 build which has too different version of the static mesh data format.Title: Re: XIII Post by: breakfast on September 12, 2011, 19:42 so there wont be ever an way to get them ? :'(
Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on September 12, 2011, 19:45 I have no desire to waste so much time to get just a few meshes of poor quality, sorry.
Title: Re: XIII Post by: breakfast on September 12, 2011, 19:47 yea, its understandable ...
but for me its very disappointing to hear that there isnt a way to get them =/ but thanks anyway Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on September 12, 2011, 19:49 Sorry, there are many games with partial support, it's not possible to support everything. There are a lot of games, and only one me.
Title: Re: XIII Post by: breakfast on September 12, 2011, 19:50 fully understandable ...
but i dont get why there isnt any other way O.o Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on September 12, 2011, 19:54 Other way - 3d Ripper DX.
Title: Re: XIII Post by: breakfast on September 12, 2011, 19:57 if im right it captures the geometry and then i have to put the textures in maya or 3dsmax ?
Title: Re: XIII Post by: Gildor on September 12, 2011, 19:59 I think so.
