Why are the textures from Bioshock so fuzzy?

I tried '1-Welcome.bsm'. Umodel says the first texture (GraniteColor_DIF) has size 512x512 but it is way to fuzzy to have that resolution... it's just one blur...

A way to exports the static meshes would also be great  Grin

There are 2 variants:
1) you have no blk files (.../Bioshock/BulkContent) - hi-res texture data is here
2) you have specified a wrong "-path=..." in a command line, so umodel cannot find bulk files.

Example of correct umodel use (I have Bioshock installed in C:/Games/Bioshock) - use any of the following:
Code:
umodel.exe C:\GAMES\BioShock\Content\Maps\1-Welcome.bsm GraniteColor_DIF
umodel.exe -path=C:\GAMES\BioShock 1-Welcome.bsm GraniteColor_DIF
