did you extract weapons models?? if you did can you send me the files? How did you extrac the characters models, i could only ectract enviroments models.

Did you use the BatchExport? because that's the only way I got the models.

I'm still sifting through them trying to find proper hair textures, teeth are shared too.

What do you mean? I've been able to get all the animations (well, a huge chunk) and they all work fine in 3DS Max and I've been able to port them to Source Filmmaker too, even animations from the cinematics.

You need to use the BatchExport tool and place it in the CookedPC folder. Open it up, enable all compression methods and set the game to trans. That worked for me and it all extracted. A select few animations won't work, but yeah, it's all fine.

Seems like meshes are unsupported on the 360 version. Textures show/export just fine, but models are foresakenly difficult to find unless I'm just being a dumbass and don't know how to get them properly.

Here are the necessary files needed, I think.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/fpxki7

pkgtool:
Quote
Found 1793 Game files (20 skippeD)
VErsion Summary
Ver: 846 <34E> LicVery: 181 < B5> Count  1793
Is this message contains correct pkgtool report? If so, -game=trans option was not required to start umodel.

To whom it may concern:

After a lot of making things harder than necessary I've found the dialogue and music files.
Dialog is in the DL_DX_<NAME>.xxx files
Music is in the WL_MX<NAME>.xxx files

Have yet to find the end credits music, though. That's probably embedded in a bnk or something, though.

Using the Unreal Package Extractor, the following seems to get the job done:
Code:
@echo off
for %%a in (*.xxx) do extract %%a -filter=SoundNodeWaveEx -out=%%a
for /r %%a in (*.SoundNodeWaveEx) do rename "%%a" %%~na.mp3

I know this topic is dead but can someone tell me or link a video on how to texture these models without having to remap them. I can't seem to find an easy way to map the textures.

Has anyone used the new umodel gui to open Deadpool? I'm not able to view the models. I can only see the textures.

1. Perhaps you're opening packages which doesn't contain any models. Try to use "Tools | Scan content" option in package dialog.
2. Enable browsing of meshes only - either command line option "-meshes" or in menu, "Navigate | Include meshes".
3. I suppose that you know how to switch objects with PgUp/PgDown keys, but just in case I mention it.

I'm using the basic options with the startup options. I'm opening the correct package because I see the character models texture but when I use page up to browse through the package and I'm only seeing the textures. Here's one of the packages I'm opening; DCHR_Deadpool_p.xxx

Occasionally I have this package. It contains only a few textures, and nothing more. This is a case #1 from my previous message (did you read it at all?).
