Hi Gildor,

This is a fantastic piece of software.  I've run into a weird problem when extracting icons from Marvel Heroes 2016 (which used to work).  I've been extracting the "store" images with the following command line:

umodel.exe -game=mh -export "C:\Program Files (x86)\Gazillion Entertainment\Marvel Heroes (TestCenter)\Unrealengine3\MarvelGame\CookedPCConsole\ICO__MarvelUIIcons_Store_SF.upk"

And I get the following error:

UTexture2D store_x23_classic: dropping 28 bytes
Loading Texture2D store_x23_fang from package ICO__MarvelUIIcons_Store_SF.upk
UTexture2D store_x23_fang: dropping 28 bytes

I assume this is something borked about the file, but is there a workaround?  I've tried my hand at debugging it a bit, but haven't made much headway thus far.

Thanks!

Sean

Hi,
I'm unsure if Marvel Heroes textures worked before at all. It shouldn't, unless you had some older game version which had "standard" TFC system. I started to work with MH TFC some time ago, but later I found that I'll need to rewrite UModel for supporting just this one game, and I stopped spending any time on it. "ReadMarvelHeroesTFCManifest" (see crash log) should read TFC directory information from some non-standard file, and I see that UModel crashed on this file, so I think its format has been changed.

Thanks for the quick reply!  I've only been working with the icon files, and UModel does still work for one of them.  It's just this specific file that seems to have changed format.

I will dig into the function you indicated and see if I can puzzle out what's going on.  Thanks!
