No, I just read a lot, including English translations of Anatoly Rybakov, or other Russian authors, currently reading Strugatsky Brothers' Stalker (Roadside picnic)
Ok. cool!
Honestly, I have no idea. There is a faceFX Plug-in available for UE4, which made me believe that at least some of the UE4 titles use it. Their website does not list any UE4 Titles. So I may be wrong and on a wild goose chase. But if no UE4 types of uses FaceFX, how else do they handle lip-synching? It's unlikely that all of them use modern motion tracking software for face, right?
I have no idea about how lip-sync is performed in modern games, sorry. I've never got any interest in this area. Probably (or even most likely) they use full motion capture instead, to be able to visualize more complex facial animation than just lip syncing. Just look at "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" development diaries.
