Umodel DOS command for Exporting meshes into ASE instead of PSKX on output
« on: May 17, 2018, 05:54 »

Hi All

I just joined the forums yesterday and have started getting familiar with Umodel. I want to be able to export mesh/s in an opened package to .ASE or other skeletal mesh formats beside PSKX that UE3 editor understands. Is this possible? If so what is the DOS command to do that in Umodel?

Damn! PSk should be ok then. Can I export from pskx to psk using the GUI or do I need to use a DOS command?  Smiley

"pskx to psk" sounds strange, like "jpeg to jpg". Please rephrase your question.

Oops! Sorry.  Grin

What I meant was when you open the package with the materials in Umodel and export, it exports the meshes as pskx normaly. I want to export them as psk instead. Can you do that in the Umodel GUI or do you need to use a DOS command in the Command Prompt?

Look for "pskx" word in readme.txt, it contains answers to any possible questions about that.

Ok, that helped a bit along with the command umodel -help in the command prompt. Thanks. Smiley

In the GUI when you have loaded  a mesh how do you view the bones of it? Is there a shortcut?

In GUI, you have a menu, inspect it!
