mortal Kombat komplete edition texture problem

i extracted from Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition PC . however  the textures are transparent eventhough  they are still usable
Note
I extracted directly from steam folder.

moreover, compared to  the one extracted by someone else, my texture is also smaller.  they have same size and height 1024x1024 but different size

The texture has 4 channel - Red, Green, Blue, Alpha. Sometimes they're used for diffuse + transparency, sometimes for something else. For example, alpha channel could be used for "metallic" etc, or for switching between materials, everything depends on artist.

If you can't get rid of alpha channel in your tools, just remove it with any tool you use. For example, you can convert tga to jpg - it will replace 32-bit texture with 24-bit, i.e. alpha channel will go away.
