Exporting animated textures from Deus Ex
« on: October 03, 2018, 12:57 »

Greetings. I'm trying to export stuff from Effects.utx package, however umodel only unpacks static images. UnrealEd shows some animated textures that umodel probably doesn't recognize. How would I unpack them? Thanks in advance.

UModel doesn't support UE1 animated textures and "Fire" or "Water" effects.

Oh, that's a shame. So there's no way currently?

If you're trying to export set of static textures, you may export them directly (they won't be exported all with a mesh). If you're trying to export UE1 "fire" texture (procedural texture, like fire effect in first Unreal game), it's not possible even in theory.
