Extracting Uexp files?
« on: January 23, 2019, 06:53 »

I'm trying to rip music from a game to get authentic mp3s to upload, and after getting uexp files using QuickBMS, I had no luck so far finding info on how to convert/extract them.

I saw on this thread -> http://animegamemods.net/thread/2809/play-extract-audio-files
that umodel can do the job but I have no idea how to use the "-sound" command I hear so often. I have no idea how to use this command or open the uexp in umodel to begin with, and I saw nothing in the FAQ that would help me.

If anyone can enlighten me, I would greatly appreciate it.

When starting umodel, you'll see a list of objects which will be openable. Check "sounds" checkbox, it will do the same as command line option "-sounds".
