Hey guys,

I'm sure its incredibly easy, but I can't figure it out. How do you unpack the pak files, so that you can access the intact .uasset files? I have Unreal Engine, and I'd like to try importing the models from games into my project in the engine, which requires the uasset files, since Unreal Engine 4 doesn't import PSK files. This is of course only for the purpose of dealing with shaders and such, and making it easier to get stuff into 3ds max.

Thanks!

EDIT: I'm trying to unpak the main pak file for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2. I suspect it is encrypted, since 7zip cannot open it, and your UnrealPak extractor doesn't open it either.

Is there a way to export .uasset files from the pak, INSIDE Umodel? Umodel can open the Pak just fine.

Moved to the usage problem section.

If you want a uasset file you want to use Tools, Save Packages, though you will also get a uexp file.
