Awesome! But it looks like this client requires a complicated registration to be downloaded... is there another way (or could you please upload it here)? I can't complete it because it requires a Social Security Number that only native Koreans have.

It looks like developers changed StaticMesh format. Please try -nostat option.

Uhm... the first pic refers to a file containing both animations and meshes while the second contain static meshes only.
-nostat does nothing on the first file and goes "no supported objects" on the second.

This is not an error. This message just indicates that you're trying to open package which contains various objects, but these objects are not supported by umodel (for example, you'll get such message when opening package with sounds, or package with static meshes with -nostat option)

I see, what about meshes/animations? I tried with "-nomesh" or "-noanim" but they didn't give me "no supported objects" :)

Initially this game was supported. But it's engine looks updated (file version was changed - in compatibility table it has version 128/29, in your report - 129/49).
Try using "-noanim" option, perhaps this would help you if you don't need animations from this game.

Just checked older messages - it looks like static meshes was changed too. Not sure about skeletal meshes and textures.

Is anyone here have CBT client with working upk files in umodel (ver. 128.29) and is able to upload it? Echo of Soul is still alive (korean, thailand, china servers) and new servers will be available in the near future (including english one (http://www.aeriagames.com/playnow/eosus?utm_source=teaser&amp;amp;utm_campaign=eosus&amp;amp;utm_medium=teaserpage)). Still, there's no chance to support newest client  ::)?

Regarding "chances" - they exists, but this game has a bit lower priority than other tasks. I think, the priority is
1. MK X
2. UE4 animation
3. this game

Probably I'll swap 2 and 3, depends on EoS complexity. But MK X has higher priority due to public demand (personally I don't like such games).

Thanks for the quick reponse! I'd personally keep UE4 animation as priority one. I've never been a fan of MKX, but the crowd is the crowd!

I wrote some code for EoS. Packages are supported, static meshes - probably not, textures untested. Skeletal meshes are some special thing: EoS programmers has stripped all the data used by UModel to decode the mesh, and kept data only in arrays which are completely ignored by UModel. This is a nice memory use optimization, but it is not compatible with UModel (like a very few UT2004 mods - there's no other UE2 games which causes such problem)

I've published the new UModel version anyway. Be sure to set game with "-game=eos" or override it to "Echo of Soul" from UI, otherwise UModel will not work.

Hello.
I didn't work with animations, textures, or static meshes. I just supported changes in package file format, and supported skeletal mesh loading. SkeletalMesh format could be loaded, but can't be used (I described why). Animations are nothing useful without a mesh support ...

There's nothing he can do about it. As he said, they changed how the information is stored and it isn't compatible with umodel.
