I was wondering how I would go about extracting audio for Deadpool? Is there support for audio extraction for this game?

I'm a noob at this so I'm sorry if I sound like an idiot but I tried using the -sound option on some of the .xxx files with audio related names but it didn't seem to work.

This would really help me out, thanks!

You should use "-export -sounds" options to export audio when it is possible.

Thanks for the response! It worked on some of the files but I can't find the ones with all the voices and dialogue. I think they may be in the ones named "SoundEvents_Dialog.xxx" "DSoundEvents_Dialog_p" or "DialogCharacters_p" but it doesn't seem to work on them. Is there anyway to open/extract these?

You could use batch extractor to export all sounds - just add "-nomesh -notex -nostat -noanim" to disable other resource types.

Yep! Gotta use the batch extractor. Then they are in FSB format. Go from there.

I am also trying to extract audio from the Deadpool game. I have successfully extracted all of the random effect sounds, but neither the music nor dialog is anywhere to be found.

I am currently in the process of a bulk extraction of every resource file in the game directory, but I've already perused it fairly intensively so I don't have much hope.

Does anyone have any ideas, or some idea where those files are stored?
