Free Unreal Engine 4 game on Steam called 'Splitgate.'

Don't you run the wiki as well?
I find it odd that you would risk the security of a game you enjoy like this.

Yes and no. I don't own the Wiki, I just help update it.

No harm in looking at the files and getting the game icons, etc.

Its a game we both like, by a small indie studio, which is what we all should support instead of the large corps like EA, Ubisoft and Epic. I would suggest giving this one some time to get things up and running before getting hands on with the assets.

I do like to stick it to the man, but not the small guy.

Absolutely agreed. Epic just released an article about this game, with nice video showing gameplay.

Hey, I got the aes key for splitgate which is now released and out of beta, and I just want to have a look and export some assets for fun. I can view and export static meshes fine, but can't view or export skeletal meshes.
I got a bad allocation size (no idea what this is)

If there is something I'm doing wrong or there's a workaround that would be great. I wouldn't want to trouble you much so if there's nothing you can do that's fine, have a great day.

Game: Splitgate (steam page)
UE4 version: 4.27 (current version)
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Static meshes, textures and animations works fine with latest umodel build (1562 at the moment). For skeletal meshes use specific umodel build (link) - no special override is required, it should autodetect the game.

The point is that current 4.27 implementation in umodel is designed for Fortnite, while Fortnite doesn't use stock engine anymore, and on top of that 4.27 is only in preview state, which means it can change before release version is out. Consider this build as temporary solution until 4.27 will be officially released and proper support will be added to umodel.
