I updated to the most recent version of UEViewer today and am now having issues with the viewer. These models appeared a-okay before, but now appear to be choppy and missing pieces. They extract just fine, but since there are multiple models of each character, this makes it more difficult to find the models I want to extract.

Here are some screenshots of what my viewer looks like currently.

The problem is with incorrect recognition of transparency for material. Send me these files please, I'll check if I can improve this.

Thanks, but you sent me psk/psa etc, i.e. exported content. It is pointless because umodel works with uasset files. Use "save packages" on the model's folder and send me archived "UmodelSaved".

There's no Male/Materials (and perhaps Male/Textures).
Please try again, and verify that saved files are enough for reproducing the problem Smiley
Perhaps it's worth delaying it to January because it's very unlikely I'll be able to check that tomorrow, and it's high probability that I'll forget about these files when I'll be able to return to umodel.

Hey, I mentioned this problem in the game's main thread.

For a workaround, press Ctrl+G.

Uploaded a combined asset directory again (also uploaded some assets back then)

I've made a quick look at that model. It seems I can't improve the situation: material has "opacity" parameter, and has a texture with no alpha channel. In this case umodel uses red texture channel for opacity, and it is definitely not correct for that material ("pants"). So, the only fix for the moment is Ctrl+G, to disable shaders.

Thank you for looking into it Gildor.

What do you think of bad hack, disable opacity rendering for -game=lis2?

I'd like to add some material customizer to UI. Currently all materials are created automatically, based on some heuristic. Doing full parsing of materials is a very complex thing, so the opportunity is to play with materials in UModel itself, with selecting what to map to diffuse, what to opacity, etc. Just to get nicer picture in a viewer. Of course these are only thoughts at the moment, this work will require some time to plan and implement, so I can't even say "will do this in 2020".
