Wikipedia - help needed
« on: March 29, 2011, 14:31 »

Hello.

I have made a simple page for the UE Viewer on Wikipedia (I think umodel deserved this)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UE_Viewer
Unfortunately Wikipedia do not allow me to upload a screenshot - I need an "autoconfirmed" status to proceed
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Autoconfirmed_users#Autoconfirmed_users
Of course I can wait 4 days - but I see no reason to make 10 posts there - I have nothing to post.
Is there anybody who can help me?

Grammar fixes (I know my English is not perfect), page additions and translations to other languages are welcome Smiley

P.S. I hope Wikipedia admins will not remove the page - there are a lot of wiki pages relative to other small tools which are not removed.

Hi Gildor,

Looks good and, you're right, a necessary addition to Wikipedia.  A couple of small changes that I would recommend:

Change "...which is using OpenGL for..." to "which uses OpenGL for"; and
Change "export of mesh resources into ActorX mesh and animations format" to "...mesh and animation format" (i.e. make animation singular)

BTW, your English is excellent.  Kudos.

Added a screenshot

more correct license is required here - umodel is free, but screenshot shows graphics from non-free program

Note: if the screenshot shows any work that is not a direct result of the program code itself, such as a text or graphics that are not part of the program, the license for that work must be indicated separately.
