Hey guys,
I want to make a video, with the Gears of War models mixed with live action and in-game backdrops. I've done something like in in the past with the World of Warcraft model viewer.
Is it possible, and what do you think is the best way to do it? I'd actually like to stay away from having to export to a 3D program, as i have no experience there.
What i did with World of Warcraft was: open models in the WoWModelViewer, make them do animations, FRAPS the video of the model viewer, import video to After Effects, chroma key out the model viewer background.
Also, can you change the color of the background in UE Viewer?
The reason i'm asking all this now is because if it sounds like something i could do, then i'll purchase Gears of War on PC. (i have xbox version but not really set to modify my pc drive and all that). But i don't want to purchase GoW PC if what i want to do would be impossible anyway!
