Putting Weapons In Their Hands
« on: September 19, 2011, 16:08 »

Hey Gildor. Hey everyone.

I wonder if it's possible to put weapons in the characters hands in 3D Max. Or even in the model viewer itself. I'd like to have the Locust shooting guns, i can get them to do the animations, but no good with no guns, lol.

Hi. I have no idea how to attach one mesh to the bone of another mesh. ActorX Importer has no such capability, this should be done using standard 3ds Max tools.

IF you look here in forum there is a thread about attaching TERA head to body so it follows. It is the same with weapon to hands I believe. You attach a weap to a bone and it follows that's bone rotation and position etc
