stripped textures
« on: March 13, 2012, 06:24 »

I place umodel and the SDL.dll in the same folder with all the mass effect 3 pcc files, every time i go to export a pcc file from this game, umodel will stripped the textures to a lower size, is there anyway i can export the textures so they wont get stripped, mass effect 1 and 2 also does it as well for me, only 3 games i came across that will do it, the rest of the games i used umodel with, i never had this problem.

i think 512x512 it's original size of textures that stripped, that is why you get this 'issue'

some are 1024x1024 and export as that, others are 1024x1024 and come out 512x512, maybe because some are made for up close view and some are far away view, i don't know, just wish they are all 1024x1024, but thanks for the reply

Textures were stripped by designers. Width/height is dimension of original texture made by artist (texture size before cooking), "stripped to ..." shows the real size which is stored inside data files.
