I've been trying to work on updating the game a little, visually. This would include high resolution textures and in some cases more detailed models. I've run into a very hard problem to overcome though, mainly getting my modified files back into the game.

Umodel has helped me export several test pieces, such a texture and a model, now I wish to reintegrate my modified files back into the .uppc files. Is this at all possible, does anyone know how?

Thank you.

It is not possible. Also umodel should not export hi-res textures from this game.

I see, is there a different program that could be used for this purpose?

I did read a different topic on this forum about the texture issue. I believe that is only for some textures and not all. Also there appear to be two variants of most textures, high-res and low-res. I exported a weapon scope texture (which I intended to modify) and it turned out at 512x512 px which is normal for a game such as this.

Animations from this game aren't supported.

Is there any chance of you ever revisiting animation viewing/exporting for R6V2? Near as I can tell it's just an unmodified but unusually old version of the engine.
