Having compression issues when trying to view models
« on: December 04, 2012, 19:23 »

Hey all,

When I try to view models using the -meshes flag, I get an error that says:

  • zlib uncompress() returned -3

Of course I googled this and the fix for it is supposed to be adding -lzo into the command prompt. Doing so leads me to this error:

  • lzo_decompress() returned -6

    I'm not sure how to fix this issue. I'm very new to this sort of thing and not very good at it yet. Any and all help is certainly appreciated! I took screens of both errors if that helps:

Hi.
I suppose you're working with Mass Effect 3 packages (according to file version 684/194), and it looks like you're using XBox360 version, because PC uses .pcc extension, but your file has .xxx ending.
Try to append "-lzx" option. If this will not help - remove startup.xxx file because it caused problems in your case.

Thank you so much gildor! Using -lzx worked, I also removed startup.xxx and that stopped the problem also. I'm having some other weird issues but I'll move over to the Mass Effect forum.
