Blacklight Retribution mesh not displaying in viewer?
« on: February 21, 2013, 01:17 »

Just wondering because I'm trying to view this DLC\PCConsole\Hero001 and this one is in the notify.txt

******** DLC_CH_Hero_001_SF.upk ********

ERROR: lzo_decompress() returned -4
appDecompress:CompSize=42965 UncompSize=131072 Flags=0x2 <- appReadCompressedChunk <- FByteBulkData::SerializeChunk <- UTexture2D::LoadBulkTexture:File=BaseTextures_Hero001.tfc <- UTexture2D::GetTextureData <- ExportTexture <- ExportObject:Texture2D'TX_UpperBody_Heavy_Dif' <- ExportMaterial:Material3'MT_Hero_A' <- ExportObject:Material3'MT_Hero_A' <- Main

Could you help me I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I think -lzo tag will not affect anything for this game. "-notex" will disable texture loading and will allow you to avoid the crash.
I'm unsure why it happens - I suppose your "DLC_CH_Hero_001_SF.upk" and "BaseTextures_Hero001.tfc" files was taken from single distribution and they're in sync. Perhaps the problem is from Unreal's DLC system - it has a lot of "hacks" in order to work with engine and I'm not familiar with it.

Really weird, I installed blr overnight, that package works fine for me.

I went and re-downloaded the client. Apparently the first download encountered a hiccup which resulted in a bad .upk. I'm able to view it now with the latest download. Thanks all!
