Hello guys!

I really enjoy that game. I think the sounds are one of the factors that make up this nice atmosphere, and umodel is this awesome extractor for UnrealEngine Games.

So, my question is, does somebody know how to extract the sound files out of this game? I want to have shooting-, footstep-, ambientsounds and all that good stuff.
Can somebody tell me how I can accomplish this, or if this is even possible?

Thank you in advance for any answer! Smiley

Hi Gildor!

Well, I tried that sort of. There are quite a lot .upk-files with the word "Audio" in it - I tried them out, but, sadly there's nothing in it: These files have about 50kb of filesize.
But there's a file called "Audio_Streaming.pck"... I tried to copy it and rename it to .upk, but then it gives me such an error:

Code:
Found 510 game files (60 skipped)
******** Audio_Streaming_new ********
*** ERROR: Wrong tag in package: 4B504B41
FPackageFileSummary<<:Ver=0/0 <- UnPackage::UnPackage:Audio_Streaming_new.upk, v
er=99999/0, game=0 <- UnPackage::LoadPackage:Audio_Streaming_new <- Main

Do you get any useful information out of that?
There are almost 600 elements in that folder - do you want me to try them all out, or do you think there could be a more... well a better way to accomplish this?
I hope there's still a way I can do it.

Thank you for your answer!

.pck is definitely not an unreal package, you should find different tool to open it.
