hey all
I'm with Splinter Cell Conviction, need to decompress files .UMD
how make this?

Not want make mods,,just want to decrypt and return files to the game folder,Uncompressed...
to repack Game,

and Splinter Cell® Blacklist™
.asstrm
.ass

sounds .uax

Not sure about .ass files? Maybe IAA_Unpacker can handle them, maybe not. The .uax files are I think compressed with either a custom Ubi key or modified to work only with their in-house editor regardless of what Unreal editor I tried they do not work. Tried multiple version of Unrealed 3 from Pariah to Warpath, to XIII to The Chaos Theory MP editor and UT2k4 with no luck. UDK and Unreal 3/GoW editor do not understand them either.

That is what I am trying to figure out as well. I am not 100% sure of the file system file structure layout yet. I have all the files extracted just need to figure out where they go. Hopefully the .ass files do not need extraction, but unlikely. Also look in the conviction thread

like I told you by PM
I put the files in the main folder,, later on every folder,, the game starts but freezes on loading screen,, yet no work...


I think I need to add the key XOR,, but I do not understand how to do this,,
think and done with quickbms some script ....

I might have had the same issue. XORing might work but I think unless the .ass files are extracted as well we are out of luck.
