This game is currently in alpha and I'm trying to extract the models and textures but with no luck.
It uses the Unreal Engine 3 for sure.

Uploaded the files you want according to the FAQ here

This game has nice and interesting graphics. And it's not "Asian" Grin

Well, you've sent me just 2 packages which has no graphical resources at all. I've quickly added support for reading packages (so those 2 packages will not crash UModel), but I can't check other object types. That'd be nice if you'd open this game in UModel, then scan packages (Tools/Scan content) and send me a few files with meshes, animations and textures.

Perhaps this game will work now without any extra coding Smiley

Please note: this game is not yet released, and this will be online game - with following updates etc. So I decided to not add game auto-detection. You must use either "-game=gigantic", or select "Gigantic" from UI.

@smidigt: Any chance of uploading the game?
Alpha is closed, I signed up, but it may take a long while... Tongue

Not sure what I am looking for while scanning but I uploaded some new files that should contain Meshes, Animations and Textures.

If you need anything else let me know!

Ello' there. I've an issue with the gigantic models and the actorximporter (I'm not sure what's causing the issue). Anyways, the issue is that the meshes seem to be deformed when applying animations regardless of which translation mode.

Here are some samples: https://www.mediafire.com/?fsh61rh86tcdr37

In this example, the model CerberusBaby has a tooth which stretches from one point to another when the mesh translation is set to animset and when forcing the animset translation, it's completely deformed.

Here the tooth mesh is deforming which is marked in red:

Here the entire jaw of the mesh is deformed:

Hey, I keep running into a problem. When extracting the textures, they always come out VERY dark. When displayed in umodel they appear as they should, but upon extraction they end up incredibly dark. Is there any way to keep this from happening? For example...

This is as it should appear, and does in UE Viewer https://www.dropbox.com/s/fb4r043lqhirq98/PlanterUEV.png?dl=0

And this is how it comes out when extracted https://www.dropbox.com/s/fzxcdjl3mp7ccwb/Planter_Default_CV00_D.png?dl=0

There is most likely a specular map embedded in the alpha channel.
Try deleting the alpha channel.

Hey, so the steam release of Gigantic clearly runs on a version of UE, but Umodel seems to have issues exploring any of the files properly. Here's an example of the error I get.

"Memory: bad allocation size -1586241952 bytes

Call stack:
appMalloc:size=-1586241952 (total=0 Mbytes) <- FArray::Empty:1299468936 x 12 <- SerializePackageFileSummary3 <- FPackageFileSummary<<:Ver=867/9 <- UnPackage::UnPackage:CookedPCConsole/DYNPAWN_Zap_SF.upk, ver=867/9, game=ue3 <- UnPackage::LoadPackage:CookedPCConsole/DYNPAWN_Zap_SF.upk <- CUmodelApp::ShowPackageUI <- Main:umodel_version=587"

Is there any way to view these? The game is free on steam, and I have all vital files for it.

Package file version was changed since alpha. Try setting game to "gigantic". I don't have any files to test it by myself.
