Thanks, but it's really old news Wink

If you have checked the announcements, and the compatibility list, you would notice nothing is yet supported for Bioshock2, and I have Gildor all relevant files for it's implementation, yet he has been very busy.

Ahh.. I looked on the chart, but in 2010 section..  Roll Eyes

And, if it doesn't work at all, doesn't that count as "not supported" (yet) and not "untested"?

Yeah, I forgot to update my list. I updated it now, I am sure many people will ask me why it's DEAD Wink

I have posted umodel with Bioshock 2 support. As usual, animations are not supported.
Hi-res textures are not tested, but should work.
I cannot post screenshots because I have no blk files (I have no that game), but models with low-res textures looks not so good.

MP ShockGame.u still doesn't work..

Code:
Found 17 game files (30 skipped)
Loading package: ShockGame.U Ver: 141/57 Names: 11828 Exports: 18058 Imports: 94
4
Loading Texture SplicedWelder_spec from package ShockGame.U
Loading Texture SplicedPilot_spec from package ShockGame.U
Loading Texture DE_SplicedFisherman_spec from package ShockGame.U
Loading StaticMesh MGMuzzleB from package ShockGame.U
******** ShockGame.U ********
*** ERROR: assertion failed: size >= 0 && size < (256<<20)

appMalloc:size=-8 <- TArray::SerializeSimple <- UStaticMesh::Serialize <- LoadObject:StaticMesh'ShockGame.MGMuzzleB', pos=A2594, ver=141/57, game=602 <- UObject::EndLoad <- UnPackage::CreateExport:ShockGame.U:1316 <- LoadWholePackage <- Main

But does work with -nomesh -nostat.

How do I tell it to use the blk files?

Bulk files should be used automatically if umodel will find them (you should specify correct -path)

Whats the reason Animations arent compatible? Is it just way too hard to get them out?

It's extremely hard Sad
Both Bioshock games are using Havok for animations, all animations are stored in an unknown compressed Havok format.

OK, I solved half my problem.  BioShock 2 has a Catalog.bdc file for both multiplayer and single player resource files.  You must deal with them separately, or else it will get confused.

Here is the other half of my problem.  I am interested if anyone else experienced this, or if you have any suggestions what I'm doing wrong.  Some models appear like this, without textures.  I know these models are in the game, so they should be appearing normally like the other models.

I have all my game files (blk, bdc, u, bsm, pcs, pcs10) in sub-folders in a directory, and I'm using -path.

umodel -path=c:\bio2-mp -meshes de_apartmentlobby
