Hi Gildor Smiley I have been using your Unreal Package Decompressor with Borderlands' upks, but the program can't decompress W_Startup_INT.upk, W_Startup_DEU.upk, W_Startup_ESN.upk, W_Startup_FRA.upk and W_Startup_ITA.upk files. The notify.log file says:

Code:
ERROR: assertion failed: H.Tag == PACKAGE_FILE_TAG

FCompressedChunkHeader<< <- FUE3ArchiveReader::PrepareBuffer <- FUE3ArchiveReader::Serialize <- ProcessPackage <- Main

Can you give a look? Thanks.

Very interesting. This package has partial compression: some blocks are compressed, some - not.
I have updated all tools for such kind of packages.

Thanks, but I still have problems. I have unpacked W_Startup_INT file with Unreal Package Decompressor, so far so good. Then I used Unreal Package Extractor to extract the unpacked file content, but I got lots of erros from command line box while extraction was active.

Sorry for the delay in answering your last question, the problem was the string path length that was too long and the extractor was not able to crete some folders and write files. After creating a folder (c:\upk) and executing the extractor wiht the files there everything was OK Smiley Thanks again.

I'm using 1024 characters for the full name of extracted file. Isn't it enough ?

Well it was not for me Smiley I was testing my stuff in My Documents folder, so path may be big for some files. But after moving to a smaller path the problem was solved.
