Hi,
And thanx Gildor for the awesome umodel.

And here are my question:

How to find and export models/animations/texture from this PS2 game? - where are they?
The PS2 file structure is unusual for me; there are some strange files/archives - with UMD and PSS extentions - just to name the largest - maybe there are the data?

PS2 Rune is not supported. Use PC version.

Yes, the only thing that you can do with PS2 files+ Umodel is convert the Images (.ums file)
so, i just use the UMDEXTRACT By Xbill (search on google)
then, convert the PSX2LINS.UMD & PSX2SHIP.UMD, and you got the .Ums files, unfortunately Umodel does not have support for this, as Rune PS2 have new creatures, its impossible to put it on rune PC. But, as i said, you can extract the textures, i got the GUI version of Umodel, open the .Ums files, and select the textures and extract.

Hi there,

First, I'm sorry for digging up, quite and old thread, but I think it's better this way.
I does concern PS2 version of Rune (Viking Warlord).

I was able to unpack files from .umd[/i] archives (thanks to QuickBMS), but here comes another problem. Apparently the PlayStation version of Unreal Engine is based on .lin archive, which I think consist all of files needed to load (like textures, scripts etc.).
Somewhere at the web I found a script, which supposedly to unpack those: (look here: http://mce.do.am/forum/25-44-1). I haven't tried it, cause I don't quite trust it, and from what I understand, it's not a proper way to do so.

I was wondering if there would, be possibility for anyone to look at it.  Wink

PS. I'm attaching some .lin archives, to look into. Smiley
