Problem extracting animations

Hello, I'm trying to extract some animations as this user was trying here: http://www.gildor.org/smf/index.php?topic=3255.0But when I open up a pack and press CTRL+A nothing happens. Neither Ctrl+A or Ctrl+X don't work.

Hi. This depends a lot from game and model you're trying to open. UE3 and UE4 games has very different meaning of Ctrl+A key.

Hello, the game is for UE3 and I'm trying to view this kind of file. It seems I can never open it to view the content.

Use tools / scan content. May be there's no animations in this file.

You should check then if game is supported or not.

This game uses upk file extension. The crash in your older message appears when you're loading some "pkg" file. Just ignore pkg files.

Alright, I have a question because I am a beginner with this program and I would like to ask If I set UE correctly for finding animations:
What should I leave checked and unchecked there?
I'm trying to find some NPCS with animations.

Remove all pkg files from "CookedPC" directory, I think. If these files are not packages, then umodel will crash on "scan content" when will locate them.

I've removed pkg and when I try to open an AnimSet I get this black screen and when I use scan content I get this type of report which I don't know what it is.

1. Did you ever use umodel for ue3 games before? If not, watch tutorials - older ones. 2. Your "scan" is not "scan content", but "scan versions".

This is the first time when I try to view/extract animations, I used UE model viewer for some time but only for viewing/extracting models but not animations. I used from a random tutorial on youtube I don't know where to find other tutorials.
My UE model viewer doesn't allow me anymore to use scan content, only scan versions I don't know why.
