I'm new to the ActorX importer plugin.

I'm wondering if the vertex colors could be saved in PSK file? And if so could the ActorX importer load the colors into 3ds Max?

No. UModel doesn't read vertex colors at all.

Then does the vertex colors were saved in the xxx files? Is there anyway to retrieve the colors?

Thanks very much! I will try to investigate that by cloning UModel's code.

Vertex colors may be stored in a mesh, but also could be overridden in scene - so each mesh instance will have different colors. UModel doesn't read scene components at all, and will never be.

How about ignore the scene overridens but read the colors stored within meshes?

UModel reads colors, just completely ignores them. No visualization, no export. I think I'll support it one day, however any work on UModel is suspended now.

Thanks for the hint. I think maybe I could find a way to export that for my own usage.
