Hello there,
I have a problem using Umodel to extract models from Brothers in arms Rth30's .ukx files.
when I try to open a package, a message appears saying that the "FSstring is not null-terminated".

Now, I'd really love to be able to edit weapon models from that game...My main goal is to make a mod that will further enhance the realism of the weapons, as well as fixing those horrible ironsights.

Can you guys help me out?

Hi.
There are 2 "Brothers in Arms" games which are supported, both use UE3. I see you're opening UE2 - what's the game was that? Could you point at wikipedia page? (anyway, I believe the game is simply not supported)

Umodel doesn't seem to work on both games.

If said games are, in fact, unsupported, any chances for them to be supported eventually? (hopefully in the next future?)

I never worked on this game, sorry. It's simply not supported.

It is simply impossible to support everything. Currently, whenever I have time, I'm adding new features to umodel, which are common to all games.

Yeah, I see...
Well, I hope you'll turn your eyes on those games eventually ^^

As for today, there are absolutely no ways to edit those game's assets except for textures...

Umodel won't get you editing functionality anyway. Even if you'll extract a mesh, it is nearly impossible to insert the mesh back without having game's editor.

The worst part is that there IS an SDK for that game ...but it's severely limited!
You can import skeletal meshes, but you CAN'T export them!

....Gearbox is a disappointment...
