https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/crackdown-3/9nxr6469dm2p

Game runs on 4.13 but Static and skeletal mesh aren't readable that I couldn't even figure out if animation works.

There's also unreadable texture format which crashed umodel when it opened.

Hence the samples.

Being a Windows Store title, I'd expect it will be UWP encryption in some ways, though if no one else has replied then it's isn't a urgent title to be supported.

Registered to see if the UModel forums had anything in regards to this game. The most recently updated versions of UModel don't seem to work, and I can definitely see what Blenux is suggesting. However, is this actually the case? And unless I'm out of date, is there a new workaround for this? And, if there are any games that are UWP that are supported by UModel, what are they and how do they differ to this game?

Hoping to get these models as soon as I can, so any update/guidance would be appreciated.

It doesn't matter (at least in most cases) if game is UWP or Steam. Just the workflow with Steam version is much easier, as it won't require any "dump" action, and therefore doesn't let users to make more mistakes.

Ah, I see. I'm glad to hear that. As such, I guess it's just an issue with the way we're trying to deal with ripping assets? If so I'll see if I really am doing something wrong; I feel like I've tried almost everything.

Those issues has nothing to do with UWP in general. It's just game assets are custom - probably because it incorporates cloudgine's solutions for virtual texturing (introduced in native UE around 4.23) and cloud-based mesh destruction mechanics (intruduced in native UE around 4.23 version in form of Chaos as local solution). Also, the game has some specific format, which is unusual for native UE - while meshes are stored in single uassets, most textures are combination of uasset + ubulk + usbulk.

I believe that even if Gildor will look into this game someday, it will require a lot of work to support it properly. It's probably the reason why custom support didn't appear at other places yet (for example, as noesis plugin or something).

Here is specific umodel build for the game (link) - no special override is required, simply choose proper engine version (if asked, 4.13). All should be supported, including meshes, textures and animations. Some animations are working properly only in "force mesh translation" retargeting mode, which can be switched with Ctrl+R. Also, you should be able to extract supported assets via "save packages" with all data, since the game is using additional format for textures.

What was done: support for ubulk+usbulk combination for textures (umodel will read max quality mip if present, since not all textures are using them), support for additional skeletal mesh class (it's a complete copy of existing class, so actually it was 1-string fix).
