I need some help

I just got UE Viewer/Umodel, as I heard that's what you need to properly open PSKX files. The problem is, I can't open any of the PSKX files I've downloaded in UE Viewer/Umodel. I've set the "path to game files" to the folder that has the PSKX files, but I still can't open them. Can anyone help me with this?

You can't use umodel to open psk/pskx files. You may try SkelEdit for that, if you only want to view them (see downloads section on the site).
Another option is ActorX Importer for 3ds Max or Blender.

oh ok. I heard that Umodel was what you use to view PSKX files. Do you know where I can download the ActorX importer?

Check UModel's readme.txt, it has lots of relevant information.

I've read it, but I only see the download for the 3DS Max version, and I don't have that software. I really wanna see these models with full textures, and the importer that I currently have doesn't import the materials properly. Is there a better one, or am I going to have to deal with the untextured models for now?

3ds Max or Blender then. Link to a Blender plugin is in FAQ, as it was created by another person. However it's quite possible that you'll need to compose materials yourself.
If you need Blender tutorials, check "Fortnite" thread, first page. Blenux provided a few of them.
