Hi all.
I did some optimizations of memory use when loading UE4 skeletal and static meshes. Someone told me that UE Viewer crashed with "out of memory" error when loading all Borderlands skeletals, with consumption of 3.7Gb of RAM. After optimizing things, it now loads all meshes, and used memory is just 2.7Gb.
I didn't check static meshes, but similar optimization were made for it as well.
Also I've reduced amount of console spam, so loading should be done faster. And the last change - UI didn't show progress of object loading, it just showed "scanning packages", and when proceeded to "loading" phase - progress indicator were stuck. Now it should show real progress, number of loaded objects, used memory etc.

Defiantly some good improvements, especially in the flat view notice it would hang a bit while typing, now super fast.

only thing I've notice is can't select the Compatibility Information link until you enable the override game detection checkbox, not sure if it meant to be that way.

Yes, I've noticed the same. Disabling "Override game" checkbox disables all controls inside, including the link. However Windows renders the link with the same text, so you can't see that it will not work.

Yeah nothing concerning for me, just thinking of others trying to click it, then spamming your github or forums about it Cheesy.
