Hey Gildor,
There are some issues with the skinning of this mesh:

Mesh sample - UE 4.22:

I think it has something to do with the weight influences being limited to 4.
I saw the card in Trello regarding this - https://trello.com/c/aB4rCgiK/169-support-up-to-8-bone-influences
Just wanted to bump this issue and give you a mesh sample to test.
I've checked out the code and indeed it's a lot of work - just searching NUM_INFLUENCES is 64 hits.

Hi,
Sorry, this feature is not planned for the nearest feature as it's quite hard to implement - I'd need to rewrite too many things for that.

I understand, it's a lot of work.
Thanks for responding and feel free to delete the thread.

I have already come across something similar. Umodel is just an example visualization of the contents of an archive. The main thing is that all this is correctly exported to psk / pskx.

Actually, the problem persist even after export.
I've tried different formats:
- psk in 3ds max
- gltf in Blender

UModel exports the same data as it visualizes, so there's no place where additional bone weights gets exported. UModel drops additional weights (those which has smallest values) and does normalization of remaining 4 weights so their sum will be 1.

it’s strange how much I use the program I often had strange weights in viewing, but normal after export
