Rocket League issues?
« on: February 05, 2020, 05:03 »

Hey! I was playing around with umodel, especially with Rocket League and it seems to be super hit or miss. I'm thinking that it has to due with potentially a change in compiling of the upks? It seems to only be on newer pak files that it will cause umodel to crash, any information on how to potentially fix this would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm sorry I'm not sure I understand your answer Sad
I see you already mentionned this 15 days ago apprently ?

newer files use different encryption keys and UE Viewer only has one hard coded. I do not know what all the keys are.

Does this mean it's impossible to decrypt ?

That was 2018 umodel, and that capabilities are in "vanilla" umodel for years. The problem is that something has been changed in the game. I'm not responsible for previous RL support, and I'm not going to spend any time doing research for this game now. So, unless someone will contribute update again, the game won't be supported.
This is not just about RL, this applies for example to Lineage 2 support.

Hello, I'm new here and I'm curious if the umodel for RL will be able to update for the new stuff they came out? Reading through the replies and seems like its been a while since there are any contribute to the decryption for newer RL files.
