I just used UModel to port some UE-games models to Doom 3 engine.

However it seems i can not find any text file that tells me which sounds need to be played on which animation frames. Is there any way to find that out.

Guessing which sounds fit and where is a very tedious process, especially when porting many animations.

Thank you in advance Smiley

I've started to read "notifies" when I worked on UE2 support (in 2008 I think), but later stopped that. Anyway, there's no file format which supports notifies for export.
So, you can't get sound information with UModel.

Would writing a plaintext file with the animation frame, and the name of anim notify event be possible?

ex:

ATK_SWING 27 "Anmnotify_swing"

Just having the timing and an idea of what the event is would make recreating that event much easier.

I do not have plans for reading notifications. There are more prioritized things (e.g. finalize glTF support), but as usual - I don't have time for EVERYTHING.
