Hi Guys,
Is there a way to export the material  MI_CharaShadow in this game pak?
I tried output the single file it exported nothing.
I tried batch export , it's not exported too.
In 3dsmax the mesh shows this file as a TGA and missing ,but I think it's a mat file.
It's maybe a commonly referenced file in lots of place, I think it can't be ignored.
Anyone can help ? thanks

@pakoneko: Not all materials are using actual textures. You can open corresponding txt file with material properties upon export or view them in umodel by opening the material and pressing M. Such materials should be recreated manually from their properties (if possible).

Sorry, I forgot upload the command line output logs.
It shows this material contains empty parameters and be ignored.
Press 'M' umodel displays very little information.
Can it be ignored in the 3dsmax?

@pakoneko: It seems this material relies on M_CharaShadow, which is probably kind of dynamic translucent material based on shaders (judging by references in content). I really doubt it can be properly parsed in any of existing tools or somehow recreated, even manually.

i tried ripping animations from this game and body works normal but when i put the high face always looks broken and dont know why i tried exporting as gltf and psa but neither works this is one photo how my attemp is looking and how should looks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0bAC1EbBZk&t=1309s on 21:49

@SouleaterLC: The game is probably using animations retargeting. You can read how umodel handles it in this post and posts below.

oh i already read suppostly 3ds max its the only one that can read .config i will try to import .psa and .config with 3ds max then i hope it will work, thank you

The Blender addon can also read it, just make sure you get the script form the "latest" branch.

Hey, I think some problem about umodel animation export for granblue versus or gearty gear strive animation... I use 3d max plugin and blender addon for import psk and retargeting system, but facial animation is not related to the any retargeting system.   https://imgur.com/a/YXfIwZk
