Hi, Gildor. I very like old game low-poly style modeling, 'cause of my job, where i create low-poly game models every day. So if you have much free time, can you take a look on this three old game? One from Disney, and two, unfortunately from Ubisoft.

Brother Bear (disney)
pkgtool's report
Code:
Found 48 game files (212 skipped)
Version summary:
Ver        LicVer     Count   Filename
 61 ( 3D)    0 (  0)     1    textures/Palettes.utx
 68 ( 44)    0 (  0)     1    textures/UWindowFonts.utx
 79 ( 4F)    0 (  0)     9    textures/...
 80 ( 50)    0 (  0)    37

samples  |  exe

Open Season (ubisoft)
pkgtool's report
Code:
nothing, all game files are in *.lin packages
umodel error:
Code:
F:\Open Season\System\linear\pc>umodel os_elliotpropanetank.upk
Found 1 game files (38 skipped)
******** os_elliotpropanetank.upk ********
*** ERROR: Wrong tag in package: 00004000
FPackageFileSummary<<:Ver=0/0 <- UnPackage::UnPackage:os_elliotpropanetank.upk,
game=0 <- UnPackage::LoadPackage:os_elliotpropanetank.upk <- Main

samples and executable

Surf's Up (ubisoft)
pkgtool's report
Code:
nothing, all game files are in *.lin packages
umodel error:
Code:
F:\Surf'sUp\System\linear\pc\char\arnold>umodel 0.upk

Found 1 game files (6 skipped)
******** 0.upk ********
*** ERROR: Wrong tag in package: 00004000
FPackageFileSummary<<:Ver=0/0 <- UnPackage::UnPackage:0.upk, game=0 <- UnPackage
::LoadPackage:0.upk <- Main

samples and executable

Also i've noticed huge (680mb) file near the exe - mainpc.uml, his error:
Code:
F:\Surf's Up\System>umodel mainpc.uml.upk
Found 1 game files (338 skipped)
******** mainpc.uml.upk ********
*** ERROR: Wrong tag in package: 00000003
FPackageFileSummary<<:Ver=0/0 <- UnPackage::UnPackage:mainpc.uml.upk, game=0 <-
UnPackage::LoadPackage:mainpc.uml.upk <- Main

Open Season uses lin and umd files.
Surf's Up executable is encrypted, but anyway it also uses lin files.
Brother Bear is almost supported (can display some models from u-files, when start with noanim and notex switches).

Thanks for attention Smiley
Maybe I missed something, but what about *.lin/*.umd files? It's impossible to implement support them into umodel?
And about bro bear: any hope for extracting *.unr files?

It's impossible. lin/umd files are some kind of archive. It's hard to load packages from the archives (at least there will be too complicated command line interface).

unr files are maps and does not contains meshes. All meshes in UE1 games are stored in u-files.

So, if could be possible to unpack those *.lin/*.umd files we get a chance to load unpacked content in umodel, right?

Yes.
Similar situation is with the Splinter Cell games (Chaos Theory/Double Agent/Conviction).

Hmmm... Very interesting ... I've never seen Unreal on the PSP.
But anyway, files in the archive are not in Unreal format. These files looks like some other packages for old Ubisoft games.
