Game = Ancestors Legacy

UModel can open the .pak but cannot load any asset.
I tested all UE4 Versions listed by UModel, 4.0 - 4.25, none worked.

assertion failed: Ar.Tell() - Pos == ItemCount * ItemSize

Is it possible to implement support for this game? Let me know if you want any samples.

Hi,

It's unlikely that I'll work on this game. I'd suggest disabling StaticMesh and try again, may be skeletal+animation will work.
By the way, it's often happens that someone reports "nothing works", then somebody else "use version 4.NN" and then "ah, you're right" Smiley

P.S. I'm not testing games myself.

I will do some more testing, as you suggested.

Update:
I turned off static meshes and could indeed load and export most skeletal meshes (not animations) with UE 4.17

Update 2:
Version 4.17, all characters load.
Animations also load, some are messed up, others are ok.
Static Meshes FAIL, unfortunately.
That is my final conclusion testing this game.

Here is specific umodel build with support for static meshes (link) - no special override is required, simply choose proper engine version (4.17).
