The game is in Unreal Engine 4, but when I open most meshes all textures are red/green/blue. I read about that and it's called layered materials. Unfortunately I couldn't find how to apply the actual textures on these meshes so I see them instead of the red, blue and green textures. Is there any way to do that in Umodel/UE viewer and if not how do I do it outside of the app? Thanks in advance.

You can't do that in UModel.

What game models are we talking about, should be doable in Blender.
