Hello guys everything is fine? (also sorry for reopen this old topic)
Does anyone know anyone capable of extracting the files for this game?

This game has many monsters, weapons, sounds and even the playable characters are beautiful for the time, but unfortunately I don't know how to extract these files, I believe it's not that complicated, the current team (2 brazilians) that keeps this private server alive ,I imagine this is really easy for the people here with RE knowledge and etc , BTW the game is old, almost the same date as Lineage 2, I would be happy if someone could help me or point me to someone that know how to work with this files just message me on the forum.

Just to add, Looks like the PT2.exe just call two of main .dlls the Engine.dll and Core.dll
On import table of Engine.dll it call the Core.dll with many functions related to files, and i'm sure what takes care of files its the Core.dll because on PT2.ini the configs of Core say that

SavePath=..\Save
CachePath=../Cache
CacheExt=.uxx
CacheRecordPath=../System/*.ucl
SpeechPath=../Speech
MusicPath=../Music
TreePath=../Trees
Paths=../System/*.u
Paths=../Maps/*.ptm
Paths=../Textures/*.utx
Paths=../Sounds/*.uax
Paths=../Music/*.umx
Paths=../StaticMeshes/*.usx
Paths=../Animations/*.ukx

so probably is Core that do the Conversion of the files, because on the game folder it was .ptx and core convert it to .utx

I don t think anyway will work on unreal engine 2 game...
There are a lot of other priorities.

Hello Guys,
I've got new informations btw, loks like its the Core.dll that does the Decrypt, i was searching on IDA and it have few functions that dont have on regular Core.dll (UT2004) such as DecryptPTX and EncryptPTX .



it also looks like use deflate 1.1.4 zlib library on the PT2.exe idk if its what Core.dll does, currently got no progress , trying use the UCC.exe with this new Core.dll but it does alot of errors maybe i'm missing something , and the Priston Tale 2 its made on UE2.5 Build 3369 maybe that help also  Grin

Hello again, so looks like some guys really have it (they show on video it working to decrypt/open on umodel), but one of them wanna sell it for too much for a single unpack tool, instead of share for community sad

Someone took the time to decrypt the PT2 resource.
Now all the PT2 models ,animations, textures can open with UE editor 3369.

Do we have a link or something? I did a quick search and i can't find anything regarding a decryptor for the resources or anything recent. Is it a Private server with the resources already extracted and available?

This one is a personal achievement for the purpose of learning Uscript, and I don't think the method should be made public
