Read this also http://www.gildor.org/smf/index.php/topic,660.0.html

And UE Viewer is a cmd tool, so you need to use it through the Command window (Start->Run->cmd then navigate to your UE Viewer directory) Here's a example

Let's say you have UE Viewer on Desktop, extract the rar and you have a UE Viewer folder, now go to Start -> Run -> cmd, a window should prompt up now and from there you navigate to your UE Viewer folder like this (I'm on Win7 so default directory is C:\Users\sn00p\) now tell the command window to go to Desktop in this way "cd Desktop" (without quotes ofc) and now the directory should be C:\Users\UrUsername\Desktop now do the same thing for UE Viewer tho (cd UE Viewer)

Once your on UE Viewer folder with cmd window, tell the umodel.exe to export/view your .upk/.xxx package, but since you want to extract them this is the main command "C:\Users\UrUserName\Desktop\UE Viewer\umodel -export -all PackageNameHere

You can also write umodel without -export -all etc to see the help, supported games and also some other commands.

Sorry for my english also... Sad

I have had a pop following you and Esr911 tutorial.

I have set up the directory and when i put umodel -extract (file name)

It says this:
'umodel' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Any ideas?

You should enclose game path into double quotes (because it contains spaces which confusing any command line application - say "hello" to Microsoft with their spaces everywhere).
Code:
umodel -path="C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\unreal tournament 3\UTGame\CookedPC" CH_TwinSouls_Cine.upk

Cheers, i got a bunch of assests, including static meshes from UT3 guns and a bioshock level.

They are in PSKX file type, how do i change that so it is importable to ukd?

I tried changing it to PSK, and it imports as a skeletel mesh, which i dont really want :L, i would like to import as a static mesh so i tried changing it to fbx and it wont import.

Any help? thanks ali
