Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion

Game: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion (steam page)
UE4 version: 4.27
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Some skeletal meshes, textures and animations works with latest umodel build (1589 at the moment), if materials are disabled. For proper game support use specific umodel build (link) - no special override is required, simply choose proper engine version.

Added separate build for the game to the first post. With it everything should work to a certain extent. Feel free to report any issues with it.

Hello, would it be possible to extract the movie files with this tool? Thanks.

The Switch version can open without an AES Key with the same settings for anyone curious, don't choose Switch as the platform or the textures will mess up.

@lologp500: umodel can see only native assets in packages, while movies are stored in criware format (usm) there. You can either use 4.27 quickbms script from here to extract them from paks or use fmodel for the same purpose.

I can't open the files in umodel, I'm always getting an error message.

@RntMayker: It's not clear, because error message is stripped, but most likely you're using vanilla umodel, which doesn't work properly with this game. You can read first post for possible solution.

Using this specific version of Umodel has gotten me the closest to a successful extraction for a weapon mesh, however when i select the version after attempting to extract or open to view, i get the error:

"SDL2.dll not found, terminating...

Call stack: SDL.Init <- VisualizerLoop <- Main: umodel_build=1579 based"

Edit: I managed to figure it out, i just needed to move the new .exe into my normal umodel folder, for anyone who finds this post later and may run into the same issue.

Hello friends, does anyone know how I can extract the audio from the .uasset files so I can modify the interface sounds? I need to mute some sounds so that they cannot be heard in combat gameplay.

@lologp500: Modding is out of scope of this forum, it's better to ask such questions at some modding communities (preferably game specific) or look for existing solutions there. If it's about extraction only, umodel doesn't support audio formats used in modern games and you need to use other tools like fmodel, but it has its own specifics for games with unversioned properties like this one.
