[UE4] Need for Speed Mobile

Game: Need for Speed Mobile / 极品飞车在线移动版 (official site)
UE4 version: 4.27 (current version) / 4.26 (previous versions)
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

Use specific build from this topic with game specific override. Most materials are custom, because cars are not painted with textures, but rather with shaders. Only latest game versions are supported.

Update: Separate override for latest game versions is added to specific build.
Update 2: Support for latest game versions is added to different specific build and older versions are not supported anymore. If you still need umodel, which works with old versions, use this legacy build (for versions 0.12 and newer).
Update 3: Specific build is updated with support for both PC and mobile versions of the game.
Update 4: Specific build is updated with support for latest game versions.

Separate override option for latest game versions is added to specific build. If there will be more changes after full release, they probably would be merged into single override and only latest version will be supported.

Sorry to bother you, this game was officially released three days ago, I tried to open it with your tool and aeskey, but it gave the message "Error: Unable to find block of type 5", the error code is "Main: umodel_build=1579 based fix19", just after I entered aeskey. Does it no longer support the official version of the game?

@toyotalee: They've changed things in full version again. I've updated the first post with respective info, latest versions should work now with different specific build.

Thanks for your response. It can open the asset catalog, but it cannot preview and export the resources in it, whether they are texture files or mesh files. Here is the error message I saw in the log: "ERROR: Access violation (C0000005 ) at umodel_acl_2.1.exe+0x91F60
CUmodelApp::Draw3D: Obj=None'None' <- CApplication::Display <- VisualizerLoop <- Main: umodel_build=1579 based"

@toyotalee: You need to choose game specific override (with the game name) at startup screen instead of generic engine version.

Yes friends, I made sure I chose the correct game name, so it can see the file directory, but it cannot preview and export any assets. If I choose the wrong game name, I won't be able to see the file directory.but it just comes up as "none" when I try to preview or export the asset.

@toyotalee: Apparently native PC client is slightly different from mobile version (despite the game being mobile one). I've updated specific build to support both versions now. For mobile version you need to set respective platform manually at startup screen, because platform option is set to PC by default.

Update: There are a lot of missed import warnings for some materials. Usually it's caused by textures with unicode names, but here referenced textures are not present even in PC version, which is supposed to be full client. Not sure if the game is downloading additional resources upon unlocking new maps, but it's not an umodel issue.

Specific build is updated with support for latest game versions. Now both PC and mobile versions are using the same engine modifications and you don't need to select platform manually like before.

Also there were questions about animations. Most of them are retargeted through base skeleton. There is brief explanation how it can be used in umodel in this topic - for this case you may use "male_triangle" or "female_triangle" as base meshes.

hit there, sorry to bother you. just reinstalled my nfsmobile pc version now they updated the game files to another format **_cures.ifs.cures so there is no .pak files anymore. thanks

@wahuyy: The game is using io store packaging for almost a year, where pak files contains only non-native assets, which are not recognized by umodel anyway. I've checked latest game version from wegame and couldn't find any issues, except those already mentioned above. Make sure you're opening game folder (WindowsNoEditor) in specific build while using game specific override, like mentioned in the first post. Also if your default locale is not chinese, make sure that path to the game doesn't contain unicode characters, otherwise umodel will not see it, like explained in this topic.

I've tried to open inside the folder "WindowsNoEditor" like before so it does load some .pak files but not much so I check the folder properties and the size are only 1GB and then I notice that .cures file that have 30GB size, so yeah I thing they Updated to another format again

I downloaded the game from https://nfsm.qq.com/web20240711/ not the wegame version


*Update: I'm reinstalling the game again now with default installation path before I'm reinstalling the game with custom path into another drive cz my C drive is almost full, so by reinstalling the game with default path I got the .pak .ucas .utoc files back again in the Paks folder. so maybe that is what causing the file lost and encrypted into one files .cures
