Constant error message, please help me

i keep trying to export audio files and every single time it tells me the following error message:

Unable to read 1 bytes at pos=0x3B3

ive tried everything, please please help me.

@bladerunner2070: You should at least provide game name. It depends on the game, because native audio is supported only for old games in umodel (around up to 4.21 games), but if it's using third party solution like wwise / fmod / criware, you'll need other tools like fmodel or vgmstream to extract audio.

Sorry, the game name's Friday the 13th the game, i managed to get it working once but i forgot how, please let me know if you have any ideas.

@bladerunner2070: I can only tell about latest vanilla version of the game, since there are a lot of unofficial editions - it's using customized package format and you need to use specific build from the game topic, and also don't forget to enable "Sound" type at startup screen. Aside from that, sounds should be exportable (they are in ogg vorbis format).

i did do that (enable sound n such) but when i try to click export it just shows me the error message i posted earlier, over and over,

@bladerunner2070: Without samples it's not possible to suggest anything, because I can't reproduce the issue. You can provide  samples (some original assets with issues) by extracting them via "save packages" option in umodel.

@bladerunner2070: Upload it somewhere (google drive / mega / etc) and post link here or via PM. And to avoid possible misunderstanding, you need to provide all files for the sample asset, uasset+uexp+(optional)ubulk in this case. If you've managed to extract only uasset, that means you're either using incorrect umodel or some weird game version, or you have mods applied (it may cause issues in some cases) - it would actually explain the error, which usually means that umodel can't read paired file from package for some reason, when needed.

@bladerunner2070: Like it was already said above, you have some issues with your game package, because normally you should be able to extract both uasset and uexp files for respective audio assets from this game, but you got only uasset and that's what causing error. Considering that you still didn't mention which particular game version you're working with, I can only suggest to somehow get latest version of official vanilla game, download specific umodel build, mentioned above, and everything should work.
