Issue Finding Foliage Positions When Ripping Map from Unreal Engine 4 Game
« on: July 08, 2024, 00:36 »

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here can help me with a problem I've encountered while ripping a map from a game made with Unreal Engine 4.

I've managed to extract almost all object positions on the game map, except for the foliage. Despite thorough searching, I can't find the information regarding their locations. I've only been able to locate the foliage models in .uasset format, but I'm missing the data on their exact placements in the game world.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and knows where to find this information? Is there any file or tool that could help me extract these details?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any tips or advice.

Usually foliage made with InstancedStaticMesh, so - it'sa different component, and it has multiple positions stored inside.
