Deus Ex: The Conspiracy (PS2)
« on: September 08, 2024, 13:42 »

Hello, I've never really used forums before but I am looking into information trying to find out how to get the models from the PS2 port of Deus Ex? I have come across problems with the .umd files and was wondering if anyone knew how to get the models inside to view in UE Viewer or such.
Thanks.

@VILLAINL0VER: I doubt you can do much with it. PSX2SHIP.umd is native UE package, but it contains only audio. PSX2LINS.umd is usual umd, which can be extracted with something like UMOD extractor, but output are lin files, which is custom format usually used in Ubisoft games and explained here (actual format is different, though general idea is the same for such umd and lin). I can only suggest to work with pc version of the game.

It's not about working with the game, and more that myself and a few others want just the models and maps to view. Someone in the past was able to get to the models and maps to load in Unreal 1 but would not share the info of how to get it for some reason. Thank you for the information though.
