Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero

Game: Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero (steam page)
UE5 version: 5.1
AES key: in the same place as usual (link)

The game is partially supported with specific build from this topic. For general limitations and possible issues please read this topic. Most animations are retargeted through master skeleton, like in some previous Dragon Ball games. You may check this post for brief explanation how it can be used in umodel (see attached screenshot for reference).

If someone is interested in demuxing/decrypting usm files from the game, see this post for the tool and the key.

You gotta use fmodel to extract audio, which are in AWB format, but they're encrypted. Wait til vgmstream gets updated for sparking zero awb's to play in foobar.

Hello, i'm sorry but could you explain how to append mesh and animations ? I have try to append both manually but it don't works for me. I used umodel materials ue5 to open files.

Look at the attached pic, it should be pretty self explanatory.
That skeleton should work for all the models or most one since "general animations" are shared too; if you appended it right the "warning" in the bottom left of the windows shouldn't be there anymore, at that point just look for the animations and append them in the same way you attached the skeleton.
The process is the same for almost every other UE 5 game, you do have to look for the right skeleton file tou  Smiley

P.S. Since the skeleton file size is the biggest i've ever saw around  Grin, when you extract the animation the .psa file generated is quite big, especially if you extract lots of them, be sure to have storage space and don't panic if it takes a while

Hello. I know how to use UE Viewer but im so confuse on how to use custom UE Viewer. I have the main from Gildors and i have both the 1.3 and 2.1 of ACL of UE Viewer but What UE Viewer do i need to use for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero? I really don't understand and please forgive for not understanding. What I'm asking for how to do it. I couldn't find the aes key for it either as the link above leads to the list of key with the last entry of a different game. Note i don't have an account for that webpage yet. Here is a screenshot of my UE Viewers. Note i really don't know how to use different builds of UE Viewers when it comes to game that isn't officially support by UE viewer. Any help on how to go about this is really needed and if your confuse what i'm trying to say, think of me asking how you did it lol Smiley

As general recommendation for newcomers, I would advice to view recommended tutorial from tutorial section to get basic understanding of how to work with umodel (flat view mode, appending, combining/tagging, etc). After that read the first post carefully, including topic with know issues, which is addressing UE5 specific things.

Basically all you need to do is: 1) append mesh(es), 2) append skeleton, 3) append animations (order is important). You can use screenshot from the first post as reference which skeleton can be used for almost all characters meshes.

@CG: Keys are stored in alphabetical order in the list and you don't need to be registered there to see them. As for the rest, it's explained in the first post.

So face morphs are able to be grabbed, but it requires fmodel and a blender plugin.

For those that want shape keys, I'll put this guide down.
Can be used for any UE5 games that uses Shapekeys, yes also Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Game doesn't do textures, instead relies on material coloring for the colors. Only things that has textures are eyes and hair details, along with face for celshading details.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting shape keys to work. I'm trying to just get the model in Blender and have been stuck, with Blender 4.0 giving a python traceback error using the PSK addon. Any help would be appreciated.
